STEMCats is a living learning program (LLP) designed to help first year students from any major transition to college and succeed in STEM majors and careers. The STEMCats LLP is intended for students interested in pre-professional STEM fields such as medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and engineering as well as students interested in conducting research. The program allows students to explore STEM fields through a connected course and hands-on research experience. Students are prepared academically, professionally, and socially through participation in connected courses and in-hall programming facilitated by faculty, peer mentors, and Residence Life staff.
