Stacy Farr

Biography:

Hello! I attended the University of Virginia, where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, before earning my Master of Education degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In addition to my work with the College of Arts & Sciences advising unit, I serve as the course coordinator and an instructor for A&S 140 – FOCUS: Connect and Recover, geared for students on academic probation. In this role, I gain greater familiarity with the experience of A&S students on campus, while having meaningful dialogue with students about the importance of honing study skills, proactively engaging in the collegiate experience, paying attention to individual learning styles, and gaining awareness of how to best utilize academic and personal resources.

Outside of work, you can probably find me glued to any sporting event as I am a huge sports fanatic. I also enjoy traveling and trying new restaurants.
