STEMCats is an innovative first-year program that provides exposure to a wide variety of careers available in to students majoring in Biology, Chemistry, EES, Physics, and Mathematics.
This program also engages students in hands-on research projects with faculty members in their first year at UK. Honors students majoring in any of the STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) are encouraged to enroll in the STEMCats program, which requires one 1-credit course in the Fall semester, and one 1-credit research experience in the spring.
